1. How can a dispatcher user set up the company's availability in the Dispatch platform?

In the current setup of the Dispatch platform, the system sees the company as fully available 24/7.

However, if the company is not available to accept new personal transfer requests for a certain amount of time, there is the possibility to block the availability.

2. How can a dispatcher user set a Blocked hours period in the Dispatch platform?

  • Step 1: Enter the Dispatcher platform and click on the "Availability" tab:

In this tab, you will be able to see all your Active (future) and Past blocked hours periods that you have set up:

In this tab, you will also be able to see the blocked hours periods in "List" view:

Or "Calendar" view:

  • Step 2: In order to set a new blocked hours period, click on "Block your availability:

  • Step 3: Select "Start date" and "End date" of the blocked hours period:

  • Step 4: Select "Start time" and "End time" of the blocked hours period:

  • Step 5: Select the reason why you are setting up this blocked hours period:

  • Step 6: Click on "Save and apply":

The blocked hours period will show in the "List" view and is now fully active and confirmed:

3. How can a dispatcher user edit a Blocked hours period in the Dispatch platform?

  • Step 1: Click on the "Edit" button next to the Blocked hours period you set up:

  • Step 2: Perform the changes to the date/time/reason of the Blocked hours period and click on "Save and apply":

4. How can a dispatcher user delete a Blocked hours period in the Dispatch platform?

  • Step 1: Click on the "Delete" button next to the Blocked hours period you set up:

  • Step 2: Click on "Delete":

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • When the dispatcher company has set a blocked hours period, this will mean that it won't receive any personal transfer requests that are to be operated in that period. The dispatcher company will however still receive broadcast requests (requests that are sent to all companies/drivers in the destination).

  • The Blocked hours period will apply to all car types (Sedan or Maxi Sedan, Minivan, and Minibus).

  • The Blocked hours period can only be set up a certain number of hours before the start of the said period (e.g: if the cut-off time for setting blocked hours is 8 hours and the time is currently 08:05 am, I can only set up a blocked hours period on or after 16:05 pm that same day).
