1. What do I do if I know that I am going to be late for my next transfer?

As soon as you know that you will be late, you are advised to look for another Welcome Driver in the Whatsapp group that can be on time. If you managed to find another Welcome driver, you can reassign the transfer to him/her as explained here.

If no Welcome Driver is available, you need to inform the travelers directly either via the app Chat, WhatsApp, call or text.

Please note that if the traveler does not wish to wait and decides to leave, this case is marked as a Driver No Show and the driver is not paid for the transfer and will be penalized with a red flag.

Furthermore, if the transfer is operated but the traveler later sends a complaint about the lateness to the Support team:

  • you will still be penalized with a Yellow flag if the delay was less than 15 minutes.

  • you will still be penalized with a Red flag if the delay was more than 15 minutes.

2. How can I avoid lateness in the future?

  • Make sure to properly organize your schedule and availability in order to avoid having 2 transfers that are too close to each other (keeping traffic in mind).

  • Make sure to track the traffic situation in advance (e.g: via Google maps or GPS with live traffic updates) in order to avoid lateness.

  • Make sure to properly track the flight for any delays and re-arrange your schedule accordingly if needed (by posting in the Whatsapp group and reassigning to another driver, see this article on how to do this).
