How to use the Remove & Suggest feature in your Welcomer App

If you aren't able to operate a transfer due to an overlap with another Welcome transfer, you should always try to look for another Welcome driver or company via the Whatsapp group and reassign the transfer.

A. LOOKING FOR REPLACEMENT DRIVER IN THE WHATSAPP GROUP

Step 1. Take a screenshot of the transfer, clearly showing date, time, from/to locations and passengers/luggages/baby seats (if applicable) and post in the local Whatsapp Group.

Step 2. You will need to send the transfer to the first driver that responds "Me" under your post.

B. REMOVING A TRANSFER AND SUGGESTING ANOTHER DRIVER

Step 1. From within the transfer, tap on "Remove from My Schedule"

Step2. Select from the list, the applicable reason for the removal

Step 3. Select the "Select Replacement Driver or Company" option

Step 4. Here you can either search for the new driver or company, or select their name from the list. Here you can also see other drivers that operate in your city.

Step 5. Once you select a driver or company, they will receive a notification of the transfer request. The new driver has 10 minutes to accept the transfer., while the company has 20 minutes to accept it.

Step 6. Once the new driver or company has accepted the transfer, it will be removed from your schedule.


C. RECEIVING A TRANSFER THAT ANOTHER DRIVER HAS SENT TO YOU

Step 1. You will receive a notification for a new transfer request. You need to tap on "Accept"

Step 2. On the next screen the main details of the transfer are presented and you are asked to confirm that you want to accept it. Tap on "Accept

Step 3. The transfer is now in your Schedule. Tap "Ok"


D. IF YOU CANNOT FIND A REPLACEMENT DRIVER

In case you aren't able to find another driver via the Whatsapp group, you have the option to remove a transfer from your schedule.

Step 1. From within the transfer, tap on "Remove from My Schedule"

Step2. Select from the list, the applicable reason for the removal

Step 3. Select the "I didn't find a replacement" Option

The transfer is now removed from your schedule.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Removal of a transfer from your schedule should be avoided at all cost in order to avoid penalisation and secure your future cooperation with Welcome Pickups.


Removal Policy

If you remove a transfer without finding a replacement driver, the following rules apply:

A. Removal of a transfer 8 to 3 hours from the pickup time: You will receive one Yellow flag.

B. Removal of a transfer 3 hours or less from the pickup time: You will receive one Red flag and there will be a monetary penalization as explained below:

  • If the Driver’s profit for the removed transfer is up to 30 euros, 5 euros will be deducted from the Driver’s next payment.

  •  If the Driver’s profit for the removed transfer is greater than 30 euros, 10 euros will be deducted from the removing Driver’s next payment.

C. If a transfer is removed by the driver and as a result of this removal it ends up being a cancelation, the driver will receive one Red Flag.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you reached the limit for the number of reassignments allowed that day, you will have to remove the transfer. In that case, the penalization rules explained in the following article are in place:
