🚗 Extra Rides Metric – Everything You Need to Know

1️⃣ What is the Extra Rides Metric?

The Extra Rides Metric is a key performance measure in the Driver Groups system. It recognizes drivers who deliver excellent service and encourage travelers to book more transfers after their initial ride.

✅ It counts:

  • Extra rides that you personally book for travelers (like a return trip).

  • Extra rides that travelers book themselves within 10 days after their first transfer with you.

👉 The more extra rides connected to your service, the higher your performance score!

👉 Travelers with invalid email addresses are not counted, as we cannot track their future bookings.

👉 This is a new performance indicator in the Driver Groups system and replaces the old Return Rides metric. The Old metric only counted rides you booked for the traveler. The New metric a; also counts rides that travelers book themselves, as long as they meet the rules.

2️⃣ Why is this Metric Important?

  • Rewards great service: When travelers are happy, they book more rides. This metric helps reward drivers who contribute to that.

  • Supports business growth: More extra rides mean more repeat bookings and higher earnings for everyone.

  • Impacts Driver Group status: Your Extra Rides Metric helps determine if you qualify for Silver or Golden Group benefits.

3️⃣ What Transfers Count Toward My Extra Rides Metric?

For a transfer to count, both the initial ride and the extra ride need to meet certain conditions:

✅ The Initial Transfer:

  • You operated the ride.

  • It’s paid and finished.

  • Pickup location = a HUB (e.g. Airport, Port, Train Station).

  • Drop-off = NOT at a HUB.

  • It’s not a no-show (TNS).

  • The traveler didn’t already have another paid transfer booked in the same city before this one.

✅ The Extra Ride:

  • Booked after the initial transfer’s pickup time.

  • Booked & Operated within 10 days of the initial ride.

  • In the same city.

  • For the same traveler.

  • Only one extra ride counts per initial ride—even if the traveler books multiple transfers.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Only one extra ride counts per initial ride.

  • Extra rides marked as TNS (traveler no-show) still count if finished.

4️⃣ How is My Extra Rides Score Calculated?

Your score =
