What to do in case a personal transfer request comes in with no sound or push notification

Sometimes Android phones have issues with displaying a push notification when a new transfer request comes into the Welcomer app Inbox.

In the four sections below, we suggest a number of different solutions you can try in order to resolve the issue. It is recommended that you try these in the order that they are presented here. You can click on the titles to go directly to a section:

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please make sure that you use the Welcomer app on only 1 phone device as using it on 2 different devices or constantly switching between 2 devices can give issues in the correct receiving of sound and notifications.


A. Clear all cache and data of the Welcomer App

Step 1. Tap on the "Settings" icon on the home screen of your device

Step 2. Tap on the arrow next to "Apps"

Step 3. Tap on the arrow next to "Manage Apps"

Step 4. Search for the "Welcome App" and tap on it

Step 5. Tap on the arrow next to "Storage"

Step 6. Tap on "Clear data" at the bottom

Step 7. After the data have been removed, tap on the "WelcomeApp" on the home screen of your device and log back into the Welcomer app using your email address and password - if you have forgotten your password, please take a look at the following article: How do I change my password?


B. Uninstall the Welcomer App, restart your device, and reinstall the Welcomer App:

Step 1. Tap on the Welcomer app icon for 2 seconds until the "Uninstall" option appears

Step 2. Tap on "Uninstall"

Step 3. Tap once more on "Uninstall"

Step 4. Restart your device

Step 5. Tap on the "Google play store" icon

Step 6. Search for the Welcomer app (blue Welcome logo) and tap on it

Step 7. Tap on "Install"

Step 8. After installation is complete, tap on the "WelcomeApp" on the home screen of your device and log back into the Welcomer app using your email address and password - if you have forgotten your password, please take a look at the following article: How do I change my password?


C. Disable the battery-saving settings of your phone:


Step 1. Tap on the "Settings" icon on the home screen of your device

Step 2. Tap on the arrow next to "Battery"

Step 3. Make sure that the "Power-saving mode" and "Super power-saving mode" are switched off

Step 4. Tap on the arrow next to "App battery management" and make sure that all the battery limitations are switched off for the Welcomer app

Step 5. Tap on the arrow next to "Powers saver options"

Step 6. Make sure that all the battery limitations are switched off for your phone


D. Rework the notification settings on your phone:

Step 1. Tap on the "Settings" icon on the home screen of your device

Step 2. Tap on the arrow next to "Notifications"

Step 3. Search for the "Welcome App" and tap on it

Step 4. Make sure that all the notifications for the Welcome App are switched on

Step 5. Tap on the arrow next to "Notification Categories - WelcomeApp"

Step 6. Make sure that all the "Notifications", "Vibration" are switched on and change the "Importance" to High

Step 7. Do step 5 and 6 as well for "Notification Categories - WelcomeApp" (the second one) and "Notification Categories - Sync Service"
