A zero tolerance policy is one where a single instance of policy violation leads to immediate termination of cooperation with a Driver, as per Welcome’s Driver Offboarding Policy

The Zero Tolerance Policies applying to Welcome Drivers are the following:

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from commenting on a person’s nationality, race, sex, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, political views, appearance and the like in a way that is deemed degrading or insulting, whether that person is a fellow Welcome Driver while on the job, a Welcome Traveler or a Welcome employee or affiliate.

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from exhibiting any kind of violent behaviour towards a fellow Welcome Driver while on the job, a Welcome Traveler or a Welcome employee or affiliate.

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from operating a Welcome transfer while under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances.

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from privately offering and booking a service with a Welcome Traveler, when that service is offered by Welcome, without booking it via Welcome and its tools.

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from sending a driver outside of Welcome to operate a Welcome transfer unbeknownst to Welcome (the Welcome driver should either reassign to another Welcome driver or to a Guest Welcomer).

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from directly asking Welcome Travelers for additional fees outside of Welcome processes.

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from taking advantage of our processes and policies in a way that will negatively affect the Company or other drivers.

  • Welcome Drivers are prohibited from using names, images, logos and distinctive features representing our Company and its products / services, WELCOME, WELCOME PICKUPS other than for the sole purpose of executing transfers provided by the Company.
