How can I use my Wallet Credit?

A wallet credit can be received by referring a friend or through promotional emails. These credits do not require a code and are automatically applied to your booking on the payment page.

Below, you can see an example of a promotional email including a wallet credit:


If you have received a wallet credit on your Welcome Pickups account, you can use it to pay for your future rides.

How to redeem my Wallet Credit?

1. Log in to your account
Ensure you are logged into your Welcome Pickups account before proceeding with a booking.

2. Select your ride
From the Welcome Pickups website or app enter your pickup and drop-off details to begin the new booking process.

3. Proceed to payment
Once you reach the payment section, your available wallet credit will be displayed. (like shown below)


4. Apply the credit
If you have sufficient credit to cover the entire booking amount, it will automatically be deducted from your total.
If your wallet credit does not cover the full amount, you will need to pay the remaining balance using one of the available payment methods.

5. Complete your booking
After confirming your payment, you will receive your transfer details via email and they will be visible also in your Welcome Pickups account.

Important Notes

- The cost of the transfer in the receipt will remain the same even when using wallet credit, meaning the displayed price will not reflect the amount paid after applying the credit.

- The wallet credit is automatically applied to eligible bookings. You do not have to insert extra information, like coupon codes.

- The wallet credit cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account. Thus, if you cancel a transfer paid with a credit, the respective amount will not be refunded.

- Since all promotional credits have an expiration date, ensure your credit is valid before proceeding to a booking.

I have trouble using my Wallet Credit. What should I do?

In such an occurrence, you can first go to your profile and check if you have any duplicate accounts.

If that is the case, you will have to merge them to ensure your Wallet Credit is correctly applied. You can find out how to do that in this article: Merging of Duplicate Accounts.

If the issue persists, please log in into your account using a laptop, in incognito mode, and try again. If it's still not working, please contact the Support Team before proceeding with your payment.
