In case you need to reach out to your driver (e.g. if you have issues finding your driver at the pickup point or if you have specific questions about your transfer), you can do this via the Driver/Traveler chat.

In this article, we will explain how you can send a chat message to your driver.

There are 2 ways to do this:

1. Via the Welcomepickups.com Web Page

2. Via the Welcome Pickups Traveler Mobile App

Option 1. Reach out to your driver through the Welcomepickups.com Web Page

Step 1. Access your booking via this link

Step 2. Click on the Trip option as depicted below

Step 3: Click on Details next to the transfer for which you would need to reach out to the driver (the driver for your return transfer might be different so please make sure to select the correct transfer).

Step 4: When a driver has been assigned to your transfer, you will see his name and car details there.

Click on Message in order to start a chat conversation with your assigned driver.

Step 5: A chat conversation will open in the Messages tab and will look like this:

Step 6: Write your message in the chatbox at the bottom of the page and press Enter to send it.

Step 7: When the message is sent, the driver will respond as soon as possible.

Option 2. Reach out to your driver through the Welcome Pickups Traveler Mobile App

Step 1. Download our application based on your phones operating system:

  • IOS (Apple Phones)

  • Android (Samsung, Sony and other popular phone brands)

Step 2. Tap on the Profile tab in the Welcome app and log in using either your email or mobile phone (the one provided during booking)

You will be asked to enter a 6-digit security code that is sent to your email address or via SMS.

Step 3: Tap on the Trip option as depicted below

Step 4: Tap on Details next to the transfer for which you would need to reach out to the driver (the driver for your return transfer might be different so please make sure to select the correct transfer).

Step 5: When a driver has been assigned to your transfer, you will see his name and car details there.

Tap on Message in order to start a chat conversation with your assigned driver.

Step 6: A conversation window will open. Write your message in the chatbox at the bottom and tap the small dart next to the chatbox in order to send it.

Step 7: When the message is sent, the driver will respond as soon as possible.

You can keep an overview of your chat conversations in the Messages tab:

Note:

As an alternative, there are also the following other options to reach the driver via the driver assignment email you have received:

  • Call the driver directly on the phone number provided in the driver assignment email (see numbers 1. and 2.)

  • Send a message to the driver through Whatsapp (see number 3.)
