How Welcome Pays you

Drivers are paid weekly or monthly depending on their destination. Minimum threshold of €100. Payments cover transfers operated two weeks prior, with any shortfall rolling over.

Updated this week

1. When do we pay our drivers?

Depending on the destination, our drivers get paid:

  • Weekly: every Tuesday

  • Monthly: on the first Tuesday of the month

IMPORTANT: You only get paid if the amount owed to you reaches 100 euros. This protects both us and you from unnecessary bank transaction fees.

2. For which transfers do I get paid weekly?

Example timeline

  • On Tuesday the 17th, you get paid for all transfers operated between Tuesday 3rd and Tuesday 10th. (You are paid for every transfer up to the previous Tuesday)

  • Following that logic, on Tuesday the 24th, you would get paid for all transfers operated between Tuesday the 10th and Tuesday 17th.

NOTE: You only get paid if the amount owed to you reaches 100 euros. This protects both us and you from unnecessary bank transaction fees.

3. What happens if I don't reach the amount of 100 euro in that specific week?

If you don't reach 100 euros in a specific week, the payment moves to the next week when you do reach 100 euros.

Example:

  • If you don't reach 100 euros for the transfers operated between Tuesday the 3rd and Tuesday 10th, you won't get paid on Tuesday the 17th.

  • If you do reach 100 euros in the next week (between Tuesday the 10th and Tuesday the 17th), you will get paid on Tuesday the 24th for:

    • Transfers between 10th–17th

    • PLUS remaining balance from 3rd–10th

4. What happens if I don't reach the amount of 100 euro for 4 weeks in a row (1 month)?

On the first Tuesday of the month, there is a clearing of all the transfers operated in the 4 previous weeks and any outstanding balance.

Example:

  • If you don't reach 100 euros in any of the 4 previous weeks (between the 3rd and the 31st in our example), you will get paid for all transfers operated up to the previous week on the first Tuesday of the next month (the 7th in our example).

5. How does it work for the transfers that are "paid to driver via Cash/POS"?

If you have operated transfers that were paid to driver via Cash/POS (in destinations where this is applicable), the commission of Welcome Pickups on those transfers will be deducted from the amount Welcome owes you.

In your pending payments, you will see two types:

  • Welcome owes to Driver (for transfers paid to Welcome), and

  • Driver owes to Welcome (for transfers paid to Driver)

The weekly/monthly payment you will receive will be:

“Welcome owes to Driver” minus the amount that is presented as “Driver owes to Welcome”
